Kings College London – Networking, Investor Relations and Open Mic Pitching Event
Hey everyone! What did you do on the evening of Tuesday the 26th of March? I could be found at Kings College London in Strand, attending the “Networking, Investor Relations & Open-Mic Pitching” event hosted by The Startup Events and presented by Ricardo Pascual and Harry McDonough.

It was a great evening graced by Startup big shots such as Akil Benjamin, Babita Devi, David Turney, Hattie Willis (she/her) and Margaret Anne Coyle, who also formed the main panel. As expected, they provided the audience with insights into the Startup industry worth at least 3 and a half pages of notes (at least, in my notebook). Then- empowered by diversity and tenure – the panel collectively advised newer founders on key decisions to make early in their organisation’s lifetime, information which I absorbed happily. I also had the opportunity to pitch my own company, Web3sy, and if you want to watch that pitch, you can find it on our company LinkedIn page. (I’ll probably repost it shortly, too!)

Something that I notice when going to these events, is that no matter how much I think I know about business, or the legal things surrounding startups, or funding and investment opportunities, there is always more to learn when I attend such events, and that is one of the attractive (yet mildly irritating) reasons I go to these events. To learn, be inspired, and be surrounded by like-minded people. Some of whom I have already added to my network and begun detailed discussions with. I can’t wait to see where these new connections take us!

If I connected with you on Tuesday, leave a comment down below and introduce yourself to my network! 🤗 So, all in all, my Tuesday evening was great. How was yours? #startup#startupjourney#entrepreneur#thestartupnetwork#thestartupevents#web3sy#founder#startupfounder
